How about some PD in Sydney! 🦘

Tina and Robbie recently headed to Surry Hills for an advanced course in lumbo-pelvic manual therapy. The course covered the biomechanics of the lumbar spine and pelvis and explored a variety of assessment and treatment approaches, giving our team more tools to help patients move and feel better.

It was a fantastic few days of learning, hands-on practice and professional development — and both Tina and Robbie thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We’re excited to bring these new skills back into the clinic!

Fun fact: Did you know there are 35 muscles attaching to the pelvis?

Thank you to podiatrist James for coming into the clinic all the way from Melbourne to educate the team about Focus Shockwave Therapy (FSWT) and Radial Pressure Wave Shockwave Therapy (RSWT).

We currently offer RSWT here in the clinic across a range of clinical presentations, including plantar fasciitis, tendinopathies, osteoarthritis and to help facilitate muscle repair and recovery.

Juanita is a Yoga Medicine® trained teacher who blends traditional yoga practices with evidence-based tools to offer individual therapeutic and tailored sessions, seeking to empower clients of all backgrounds through mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation, to support strength, balance, and overall well-being.

Juanita is now available for 1:1 sessions and will be looking to launch small group classes from March - stay tuned! ✨

We are thrilled to welcome Vidhi who brings a unique movement-based perspective to her physiotherapy practice through her background in yoga therapy.

Vidhi has a strong interest in neurological and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Outside of clinical practice, Vidhi is passionate about social service and has led large-scale medical camps, contributing to the assessment and care of over 2,000 children.
