Musculoskeletal Medicine
Dr Ramona Chryssidis has over 20 years experience as a Musculoskeletal Medicine doctor with an emphasis on personalised, holistic care. She will take the time to understand your presentation with a thorough assessment, which may include the use of diagnostic ultrasound in-rooms. She will discuss treatment options with you and develop a unique management plan with you.
She is passionate about finding solutions to your musculoskeletal condition, focussing on understanding and treating the cause of your symptoms. This takes time and may require a series of appointments. Dr Chryssidis offers various treatment modalities, including advanced regenerative and orthobiologic injection treatments designed to support your recovery.
While some of these treatments are no longer eligible for Medicare rebates, she is dedicated to delivering value through effective tailored solutions and exceptional care aimed at long-term recovery.
She has a number of medical assistants helping to deliver these complex treatments efficiently. Most of her assistants are allied health practitioners at Smart Health and may also assist in providing additional treatment that you require during your consultation such as sports taping, dry needling, hands-on treatments or radial pressure wave (shockwave) therapy.
We are proud of the unique, truly collaborative and comprehensive Musculoskeletal Medicine service that we provide at Smart Health and look forward to assisting you in your journey to recovery!
